Plans

Which plan includes the Storefront API, and how plan limits show up as errors.

A business is on one of three plans: Starter, Growth or Scale. The plan decides what the APIs let you do. For prices, see shopeazy.co/pricing.

A business on a live trial has the Storefront API too.

The Storefront API

The Storefront API is included with Growth and Scale. A store on Starter has the hosted storefront only:

  • The console does not issue a key or switch the API channel on.
  • Keys the store already has stay listed, and every request with one answers 403 plan_limit.
  • Upgrading again brings the site straight back. Keys and data are kept.

The Merchant API

The Merchant API works on every plan. These operations need more:

NeedsOperationsWithout it
ScalecreateMaterial, addSupplier, createPurchaseOrder, recordBuild403 plan_limit
Analytics PlusgetTopSellers, getTraffic, getSalesReport403 plan_limit
Marketing PlusgetAudiencePreview, sendTestEmail, sendCampaign, and Studio makes of adset or week403 plan_limit

Growth and Scale include both add-ons. The sales summary, getSalesSummary, is open to every plan.

Adding to the Library, such as a photo, an upload or an AI image, is 403 plan_limit once the Library is at the plan's storage. What is already stored stays.

Errors

CodeStatusWhen
plan_limit403The plan does not include this, or its cap is reached. The message names the plan to move to
store_inactive403Storefront API. The workspace's plan is not active. Treat it as "shop closed"
subscription_locked403Merchant API. The plan is not active, so the store is read-only. Reads still work. Writes are refused until the merchant pays or reactivates

plan_limit is always 403. Nothing is lost when you hit one: upgrading restores access.
